The creativeMRKT agreements

We've kept this short and in plain English. By ticking the box and signing your name on sign-up, you're agreeing to the points below. Our goal is a lasting, mutually beneficial relationship — not a one-off transaction.

Creative agreement

1. What we do together

creativeMRKT is a marketplace that connects creatives with clients and partners. We make introductions and support the relationship — your craft, pricing, contracts, and delivery stay yours.

2. Clients we introduce you to

If we introduce you to a client through the platform, that's a "platform-introduced client". The revenue share applies to ongoing work with that client — first project, repeats, and renewals — whether or not future work runs through the platform.

3. Revenue share

Joining is free. For platform-introduced clients you share 5% of what you bill them with us. It's ongoing because the introduction is ongoing — that's how we sustain the platform and keep sending good work your way.

4. Monthly check-in

Once a month we'll ask you to:

  • Send a quick rundown of revenue from platform-introduced clients;
  • Confirm it's accurate; and
  • Submit it on time.

Forgetting to report doesn't make the share go away.

5. Don't poach to skip the share

Don't poach platform-introduced clients to try and circumvent the revenue share — for the duration of our relationship and for 12 months after your last project with them. We're not trying to lock you down — just keep the introductions fair for everyone.

6. If a client doesn't feel like a good fit

Things don't always click — that's normal. If a client isn't the right fit, please give us a heads-up so we can do the right thing on their behalf, learn from it, and rematch them with someone better suited in a timely fashion. Telling us early helps everyone.

Partnership agreement

Partnership is free. There's no revenue share for partners. We only ask that introductions and clients we connect through the platform stay on-platform so everyone benefits.

1. What partnerships look like

Partners (agencies, studios, businesses, organizations) help bring clients and projects to the platform, or extend the value we deliver to clients. We treat the partnership as ongoing — we want to grow with you, not just transact.

2. Keep introductions on-platform

For clients and creatives we connect you with through the platform, please don't route them off-platform or poach them from creatives or other partners just to step around the platform. This applies during our partnership and for 12 months after the last platform-introduced engagement. Keeps things fair across the network.

3. If a match doesn't feel like a good fit

If a match isn't working — for you or the client — let us know. We'll do the right thing on the client's behalf, including rematching them with another creative or partner where applicable, in a timely fashion. The faster we hear, the better we can take care of it.

4. Selling products or services to creatives?

If your business sells products, services, or solutions to creatives on the platform (printing, suppliers, software, tools, etc.), that falls under the service provider track instead — it has its own short agreement with a small revenue share on platform-introduced creative customers. Just let us know and we'll switch you over.

Service provider agreement

For companies selling products, services, or solutions to creatives on the platform — think printers, suppliers, software, tools, specialists. This mirrors the creative agreement, just pointed the other way: we're sending creatives to you.

1. Creatives we introduce you to

If we introduce a creative customer to you through the platform, that's a platform-introduced creative customer. The revenue share applies to ongoing work with that customer — first order, repeats, and renewals — whether or not future orders run through the platform.

2. Revenue share

Joining is free. For platform-introduced creative customers you share 5% of what you bill them. It's ongoing because the introduction is ongoing — that's how we sustain the platform and keep sending good customers your way.

3. Monthly check-in

Once a month we'll ask for a quick rundown of revenue from platform-introduced creative customers, a quick confirmation it's accurate, and on-time submission. We'll keep it light.

4. Don't poach to skip the share

Don't route platform-introduced creative customers off-platform or poach them just to circumvent the revenue share. This applies during our relationship and for 12 months after your last order with them. Keeps things fair for everyone on the network.

5. If a customer doesn't feel like a good fit

If a creative customer isn't the right fit, give us a heads-up so we can do the right thing on their behalf and rematch them where it makes sense, in a timely fashion.

Shared house rules

Looking at the numbers

With 10 business days' notice, we may ask to look at records for platform-introduced work (no more than once a year unless something looks off). If more than 5% was missed, you'll catch up on what's owed and cover the reasonable cost of the review.

If something goes wrong

We'd much rather just talk it through. If the agreement is broken, we may give a heads-up to fix it, pause access, recover what's owed, or take it further if needed.

Closing your account

You can leave at any time. Anything still owing for existing platform-introduced work still applies under the windows above.

You're your own business

You're independent — not an employee, agent, or franchisee of creativeMRKT. Your taxes, insurance, and team are yours.

Privacy

We handle your info responsibly and follow Canadian privacy rules. See our Privacy Policy for the details.

Disagreements

If we ever disagree, we'll talk first, then try mediation. If it really can't be sorted, Canadian (Saskatchewan) law applies.

Paying on time

Revenue share is due within 30 days of your monthly report. Late amounts may carry reasonable interest and collection costs.

The "as-is" part

The platform is provided as-is. We're not liable for indirect or knock-on losses. If something does go really wrong, our total liability is capped at any revenue share you've paid us in the last 12 months, or CAD $100, whichever is higher.

Updates

We may update this agreement now and then. If something material changes, we'll let you know and may ask you to re-accept.

Signing

By ticking the agreement box and typing your name on sign-up, you're saying you've read this and you're in. Your typed name counts as your signature.
